| North Carolina A&T joins the ARTSI Alliance |
| On August 7, 2008, North Carolina A&T State University joined the ARTSI Alliance as the 10th HBCU member. The Alliance welcomes Professor Edmundson Effort and the North Carolina A&T program to a growing community of researchers whose goal is to advance African-American interest in robotics. |
