At first, it was a bit challenging because I had no clue where to start, but as I began to catch on, it cam easier and easier. Aside from the tutorials online, I had to use my problem skills and knowledge that I have of other languages to make some things work, for instance, I wanted to create a button that ran a segment of code in another file. After a bit of thought, I managed to make it work. I&#8217;m Jessica, a rising sophomore. Im doing my summer REU at Carnegie Mellon University working in the People and Robots Program on the behaviors of the SnackBot. Since I arrived, I have learned the basics of the Python programming language and have applied it to writing a simple behavior for a robot. Although I started out slow, I think I am catching on.
