In the long history of science, serendipity has accounted for more than a few advances. Perhaps not on a par with the discoveries of penicillin or Teflon, the “discovery” of a trove of hidden robotics talent in Pittsburgh’s East End may yet have positive future ramifications—thanks to a serendipitous publication in the New Pittsburgh Courier.
