Howard University has become the thirtheen HBCU to join the ARTSI Alliance. Founded in 1867  in Washington, DC, Howard now produces more on-campus African American PhDs than any other other university.

Professor John Trimble of the Department of Systems and Computer Science will be Howard's ARTSI representative.
