On April 25, ARTSI Principal Investigator Andrew Williams of Spelman College received the 2008 Young Engineer Award from the Marquette University Alumni Association. Dr. Williams earned a masters degree in electrical and computer engineering at Marquette in 1995 before returning to the University of Kansas, where he'd done his undergraduate work, to earn a Ph.D. in electrical engineering.
